Jazzy Jeff the Magnificent!

You can't front on talent and this guy has it in abundance. Before he was hittin' on Hilliary and gettin' thrown out the house by Uncle Phil (The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air anyone?) Jazzy Jeff was winning grammy's (the first ever rap grammy for that matter, awarded in 1989 for "Parents just don't Understand") and carving records alongside his then partner The Fresh Prince. A Phillidelphia pioneer who is also credited with perfecting and popularising the "transformer" scratch, he won the New Music Seminar DJ competition waaaaaaay back in 1986.
Ranked alongside DJ Cash Money as an inspiration to almost all modern DJ's, he also rates as one of the greatest technical turntablists of any era.
He's also put out a couple of noteworthy production/compilation albums and can be found at the helm of Nu-Soul and R&B label A Touch of Jazz.
