Wrung Division

The label Wrung from France have come from strength to strength from its humble beginnings in 1995 when you would see a quarter page advert in them old xplicit grafix mags.
The quality back then was still good, shit I still own a few of their shirts from the 1998 collection with the necks still unstretched and the cotton showing no signs of wearing thin .

The gear their putting out now is on the next level…shits gully from the street up.. windbreakers to denims they got shit locked!

Expect some of their future collections on our shores real soon.

A few pics from their latest

Terminology; Dope or Douche?

I copped this guy's album a little while ago now and was neither impressed (like i thought i would be) nor dissapointed. From the jump i've had a fairly mixed appreciation of dude, some of the guest spots are fuckin slammin (prodigy, bun b, lil fame) not to mention the production line up was somethin we hadn't seen in a minute- primo, large pro, pete rock, buckwild, easy mo bee and the list goes on. I've now come to the conclusion that the affore mentioned contributors are actually what i like about this album. There in lies my problem; it's not thier album, its terminology's. This guy has a shit whisper like flow (not remminicent of pun as he would have you believe) and one of those "i am hip hop, just look at me" personas i fucking hate. Anyway i'll let you make up your own minds, i found this video on undergroundhiphop.com that helped me make up mine....

Cope interview from living Proof

Love him or hate him, He's paid dues.

When a king reigns from a high and mighty throne, people vie to snag a piece of his domain and put an end to that supremacy. The Bronx (and New York City) empire that true legend COPE2 marked years ago still keeps the toys at bay—even when they try to stake a claim and make a name by crossing out the tags, throw-ups, and burners that border his territory like an unwavering great wall.

The Wackness

I'm quite the fan of Ben Kingsley from his characters in sexy beast and gangster number one so i had to check it.

I think he plays a better standover rather than his role in this as a fucked up shrink..none the less, this wasnt a bad movie just didnt really have enough gusto in my opinion, along with the lead guy's fucking haircut!

The sountrack on the other hand is dope as fuck. Being set in New York, 1994 all joints throughout the movie are the well know classics.

I recall some B.I.G, wu, craig mack. Id spare your cash on the dvd, get a burn and buy the soundtrack.
