It's been 4 years now since LAZY GREY's last album "Banned In Queensland" (Crookneck) and somehow its still seems like yesterday... ahh good times..
In recent years Lazy's blessed a number of guest appearances on a number of releases, and put in much work with the 750 REBELS project, releasing the coveted and now sought after 'SPIT VICIOUS' 12inch in August 2007. The 12 sold out in 3 weeks, making it possibly the fastest selling 12inch in Oz hiphop history to date.
Now the fire's burnin deep and well stoked for a long scorchin solo as 'LAZY' hits the studio with the producer extraordinaire, none other than 'V' at the boards for this hot to def new project. With Karsniogenics own 'DJDCE' taking up all scratch duties, this album is well n truly on it's way to being possibly another pure Oz classic, as only LAZY's preceeding releases could suggest!
A conceptual work in progress, the 3 have been hard at it for the past few months working on the development of a whole new sound and approach for the record. Currently titled "THE SOUNDTRACK", the rest is magic in the making so guest what? Yeah that's right! You just gotta keep ya wait on a little more to even get a sniff of this joint!!
