We headed over to The Edge last Friday to take a few shots of a showcase for Brisbane artist Rainman. Pretty hard place to shoot with such a high roof but here's a few that turned out.
Ray will be swinging us some new shirt designs soon so keep an eye out for them on the store. Keep your ears open for his new album too.

With a string of recent guest appearances alongside some of OzHiphop’s finest artists and the success of his ‘PURGATORY’ June 2010 release receiving some 900 plus downloads, JAKE BIZ returns with the second installment titled ‘PURGATORY 2’. In the lead up to the full length debut COMMERCIAL HELL droppin early 2011 on KARSNIOGENICS, JAKE BIZ is set to blaze a hellish trail across the scene.

‘PURGATORY 2’ kicks off enlisting the talents of Ozhiphop legends BIAS B and LAZY GREY to throw down on THE STATESMEN produced stomper ‘GETTHEFUCKOUTTAHERE – REMIX’, with the EP culminating in the 750 REBELS feature banger ‘THE SHAKEDOWN’, a BROOKES CULLINGS (aka OVERPROOF PETE) produced mammoth that captures Brisbane’s most revered crew at their dream-shattering best.

Jake’s fellow WARPIG member and frequent collaborator BIGFOOT take it back to their Gangsta Rap roots on the heartfelt dedication to feminism ‘HOW ABOUT IT’, while Jake goes it alone on THE STATESMEN produced joint ‘STILL DRUNK’.

Wu-Tang x Rocksmith

The Wu-Tang Brand in association with Rocksmith presents: The Wu-Tang Limited Holiday 2010 Capsule Collection

This holiday season, select retailers across the United States will premiere the Wu-Tang Limited capsule collection, designed and produced by Rocksmith.
The Wu-Tang Brand has influenced generations as one of the most renowned global entities in music and lifestyle. This premiere collection illustrates
the vivid history of the Wu as curated by Wu-Tang executive producer and Brand pioneer Oliver “Power” Grant.

Following the success of the Wu Massacre collaboration, Rocksmith graphically interprets the birth of the Wu Legend in a series of five tee shirts. They are delivered with a hoodie, knit headwear and a premium M65 jacket-all made in the USA. The Iron Flag M65 jacket, constructed of leather and melton wool, fuses the design elements of a M65 with a classic varsity. The C.R.E.A.M. hoodie features twill appliqued lettering with zig zag stitching. From the 36 Chambers tee to the most iconic cassette in hip hop, Raekwon’s Purple Tape, this collection is for the true fans, aficionados and crate diggers.

Throw your W’s up.

Meyhem & Action. Queens Reprazent!

Every so often someone or something comes along and reminds me why i love this rap shit so much, enter Meyhem Lauren and Action Bronson.
Both hailing from The Rotten Apple's Q-Borough, alongside the late Killa Sha, they make up one half of the J-Love helmed Outdoorsmen crew while Meyhem is also a member of the property re-appropriating Lo-Lifes massive.
I recently copped Meyhem Lauren's "Clarrified Butter" mixtpe and J-Love's "Underground Emperor" and have had both on constant rotation since. While i'm fairly indifferent on J-Love as a rapper his production is second to none and provides the most suitable backdrop for Meyhem and Action to cut loose on.
Gritty and abrasive with G Rap style deliveries and a Ghostface-esque cadence, i recommend any fan of "that old raw shit" to cop this immediately.

This shit is almost refreshing... Check the videos:

Ray Lewis - Meyhem Lauren Feat. Action Bronson and AG Da Coroner.

Action Bronson - Imported Goods.

J-Love & Meyhem Lauren Feat. Cormega - Its Like.
